• Offers alternative education for poor migrant children at the Learning Center
• Provides shelter, accommodation, and food for orphaned and deprived children
• Maintains an organic garden to produce vegetables for our school and shelter

• Farms mushrooms
• Raises scholarship funds for poor migrant children in the Mae Hong Son area
• Contributes food, clothing, school and recreational materials to poor migrant children along the Thai-Burma border
• Informally documents and offers mobile counseling for children who are unable to attend school
• Assists HIV infected children and children of HIV patients
• Assists parents with drug addictions with food, clothing, and education fees
• Networks with the Thai authorities, Thai legal foundations, local Burmese NGOs, and internationally based NGOs such as TBBC, IRC, Consortium of Thailand, Chiang Mai University/Trent University Joint Action for Native Studies Program

Action Plan for 2006

1. Repair roof of Orphanage Shelter and Learning Center.
2. Upgrade the plumbing system to provide pure drinking water.
3. Develop a hygienic waste-water system.
4. Improve the walkway between the shelter and learning center.
5. Negotiate with Thai schools to provide formal education for children.
6. Provide a shelter and education for HIV infected children.
